Get notified whenever someone submits your form. You can send yourself an email notification by turning on the Send email for new responses in your form’s settings.

Send yourself an email notification
When you turn on Send email for new responses, you’ll receive an email notification for every completed response or every completed and partial response. The email will be sent to the email address you use for your Typeform account. The Send email for new responses setting is turned off by default.
The Send email for new responses setting applies separately to each Typeform user and each form. If you enable this setting for a form and later lose access to the form, you’ll automatically be unsubscribed from its email notifications.
1. Open your form and click the settings icon in the toolbar.
2. Scroll down to Notifications, and toggle on Send email for new responses.
3. From the dropdown, select if you would like to receive email notifications for Complete responses only or Complete and partial responses.
Completed responses only - You’ll receive an email notification every time someone completes the entire form and clicks the Submit button at the end.
Completed and partial responses - You’ll receive an email notification every time someone completes the entire form and clicks the Submit button at the end, and whenever someone passes a Partial Submit Point.
Note! If you’ve turned on Capture partial responses after every question and turned on email notifications for Complete and partial responses, you’ll receive the email notification for a partial response after around 7 minutes. With Capture partial response after every question, responses are registered as a partial response if the respondent stops filling out the form after 7 minutes.
4. Click Save.
Now, whenever you receive a new response to your form, you’ll receive an email notification.
The email will include the following information:
- Responses to questions in the form (excluding video and audio answers and scheduler responses)
- Variables
- Enrichment variables
- URL parameters
- Lead tags
