Create a landing page with Typeform Pages (beta)

Use Typeform AI to create an on-brand landing page for your project, campaign, event, or offer. Describe the page you want, refine the result, and publish the page with your content, branding, media, and an embedded form.

What you can do with Typeform Pages

With Typeform Pages, you can:

  • Create a landing page with Typeform AI
  • Connect a custom domain to your Typeform Page so people can open your page on a branded web address instead of the default page URL
  • Add a navigation menu, an intro section, and supporting content blocks
  • Embed forms
  • Edit copy and links using AI or from the builder
  • Add media from Unsplash, Pexels, YouTube, and Vimeo
  • Upload your own images through Typeform AI
  • Set custom page metadata
  • Add your own branding

Before you start

You need access to Typeform Pages in your account. Typeform Pages is currently in beta. If you don’t see the option to create a page, Pages isn’t enabled for you yet.

Create a page

  1. Open Typeform Pages.

  1. Choose a Workspace for your landing page.

Note! Each Form workspace has a Pages workspace with the same name. However, Forms and Pages are stored separately. You won’t see your forms in the Pages workspace, and you won’t see your pages in the forms workspace.
  1. Click + Create page.

  1. Click New page in the top left corner to give your page a title and click Save.

  1. Describe the page you want to create in the Typeform AI chat box, then press the Enter key to send your prompt.

  1. Review the generated page draft in the builder.

Tip! If you use Connectors with Typeform AI, you can bring in context from connected apps like Canva, Notion, Slack, Shopify Storefront, or Stripe instead of adding all the information manually to your prompt. You can also use Shopify or Canva to add visual content to your page, or use Stripe to generate checkout links for products or bundles.

Example prompts

If you’re not sure where to start, here are some prompts you can adapt:

  • Create a landing page for my webinar and embed my event registration form. I’ve linked the form here: [paste form link].
  • Build a landing page for my product launch and match it to my brand.
  • Create a landing page for my newsletter signup and add my form called Weekly Fitness Tips.
  • Make this page feel more energetic and update the wording for a fitness audience.
  • Add a button that links to my coaching application form. I’ve linked the form here: [paste form link].
  • Replace the images on this page with something more modern and professional.
  • Embed my contact form at the bottom of this page so visitors can get in touch.
  • Add my customer feedback form to this landing page and place it below the product details. I’ve linked the form here: [paste form link].
  • Add a button that links to my coaching application form. I’ve linked the form here: [paste form link].

If you want Typeform AI to add a specific form to your page, include the form name or paste the form link in your prompt.

Edit your page

After your page is generated, you can keep refining it by chatting with Typeform AI. You can also edit text and links directly in the builder.

You can ask Typeform AI to:

  • Change the layout of your page
  • Add or remove embedded forms
  • Add or remove sections
  • Add links to buttons
  • Add or remove images and videos
  • Embed videos from YouTube and Vimeo
  • Update your page branding

When you click a text box, link, button, or content block, Typeform AI uses that selection as context for your prompt and shows the selected element in the chat. This helps it understand which part of the page you want to change.

To edit text directly in the builder, double-click the text you want to change and make your edits.

To edit a button link, click the button, click Edit, update the URL, and then click Save.

Add media to your page

You can add visual content to make your page more engaging.

Currently, you can add:

  • Your own images uploaded through Typeform AI
  • Images from Unsplash
  • GIFs from Pexels
  • YouTube videos
  • Vimeo videos

If you use connectors with Typeform AI, you can also bring in brand assets and other content from connected sources.

If you want to change the media on your page, you can ask Typeform AI to update it for you as you refine the page.

You can’t manually choose images from Unsplash or Pexels.

To embed a YouTube or Vimeo video, paste the video link into Typeform AI and tell it where you want the video to appear on the page.

Add a form to your page

Forms are optional on Typeform Pages.

If you want to include one, ask Typeform AI to create a new form or use an existing form in your account. If you already have a form you want to use, tell Typeform AI which form to use by naming it or pasting its URL into your prompt.

You can ask Typeform AI to embed a form on your page or link to a form with a button, depending on the experience you want to create.

Note! Make sure your form has been published before adding it to your landing page.

Customize the branding of your page

You can update the branding on your page by asking Typeform AI or by clicking Design.

From there, you can select an existing theme or create a new one for your page.

You can select colors, fonts, and control elements like text alignment and button styling.

HC_Note_new.png
Note! Page themes and form themes are currently separate. When you first open Pages, Typeform copies and adapts the form themes in your gallery so they can work with pages. After that, page themes and form themes don't stay in sync automatically, so a new form theme you create later won't automatically appear in Pages, and deleting a form theme won't remove the corresponding page theme.

FAQ

Do I need to add a form to every page?

No. Forms are optional on Typeform landing pages.

Can I remove the Powered by Typeform banner?

If you're on a Business plan or above, yes. Open Settings, go to Publish settings, and hide the banner there.

Can I upload my own images?

Yes. You can ask Typeform AI to upload images to your page.

Can I use a custom domain?

Yes. You can connect a custom domain from Publish settings.

Can I choose specific images from Unsplash or Pexels myself?

No. At the moment, you can ask Typeform AI to change the media on your page, but you can’t manually choose specific images from Unsplash or Pexels.

Why don’t my form themes show up the same way in Typeform Pages?

Form themes and page themes are separate. When you first open Pages, Typeform copies and adapts your existing form themes so they can work with pages. After that, they don’t stay in sync automatically, so new form themes won’t appear in Pages on their own, and deleting a form theme won’t remove the matching page theme. Themes control things like colors, fonts, background images, and logos.
