Bring Typeform into Claude so you can manage your account without switching tools. To get started, add the Typeform connector to your Claude account in just a few steps.

Note! If you previously connected Typeform to Claude using a personal access token, this is no longer supported. To continue using Typeform in Claude, re-authenticate with OAuth by following the steps in this article.

What is the Typeform connector in Claude?
To use Typeform in Claude, you add it as a custom connector. Behind the scenes, that connector is powered by the Typeform MCP server.
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It lets AI tools like Claude connect to other apps like Typeform so you can ask questions, look up information, and complete actions using natural language instead of doing everything manually in your Typeform account.
Before you start
You’ll need:
- A Typeform account
- A Claude account
- Permission to create a custom connector in Claude
- Your Typeform MCP server URL: https://api.typeform.com/mcp
Server URL for the Typeform Connector
When you add the Typeform connector in Claude, you’ll be asked for a server URL. Use one of these URLs, depending on where your Typeform account is hosted:
| Region / data center | MCP server URL |
| Global / default | https://api.typeform.com/mcp |
| EU (option 1) | https://api.eu.typeform.com/mcp |
| EU (option 2) | https://api.typeform.eu/mcp |
If you’re not sure which one to use, start with the Global / default URL.

6. Click Add.
7. Click Connect and log in to your Typeform account if prompted.
8. Review the permissions Claude is requesting to access your Typeform account and click Accept.
9. Review the Typeform tools you want Claude to be able to use.
What you can do once connected
Once Claude is connected, you can ask it to work with your Typeform account—for example, to list your forms or create contacts.
A simple way to get started is to ask Claude what Typeform tools are available, then ask it to perform a specific task.
When we say tools here, we mean actions Claude can take for you, like creating a contact or listing your forms.
Here are some prompts to get you started:
- “Show me all the Typeform tools you can use for my account.”
- “List my forms and show me their titles.”
- “Summarize recent responses for my form.”
- “Create a new contact for Alex Rivera with the email alex@example.com.”
