Once you’ve created a research study with Research Flow, there are several ways to share it with your chosen audience. In this article, you’ll learn how to embed your study on a website.
Note that we don't support native mobile app embedding. You can use a WebView if you need to embed, but we recommend sending users to a browser link instead. This is simpler to build, more reliable, and delivers better UX.

For a seamless respondent experience, you can choose to embed your Research Flow study on a webpage as a standard, popup, or popover embed.

To embed your research study:
- Click Share in the upper right corner.
- Click Explore other ways to share.
- Select Embed on a webpage on the left-hand side.
Now you’ll see the available embed modes:
- Standard
- Popup
- Popover
You can switch between each of these options in the Share panel until you find the option that works best for you.
Note! You don't have to re-embed an existing study when you make changes to the study itself, but make sure to click Publish edits so your updates show up in the embedded version.

Standard embed
A standard embedded research study will load on your website wherever you decide to put it. You can see a preview of your embedded study in the center panel.
You can change the height and width of your study under settings.
Click Start embedding to generate your embed code. Read on to find out about your embed options and settings.
Popup
In the center of the screen, you’ll see a preview of how your popup will appear. Click the Try me! button to see your popup in action.
Under Settings, you can edit your Popup's appearance.
You can choose whether to use a Large, Medium or Small popup using the Popup size dropdown menu:
You can then edit the Button text, Button color, Font size, and Corner rounding of your popup.
Enter the text you want in the Button text field, up to 24 characters, to change the label shown on the button.
Click the Button color dropdown to choose the color of your button. You can use the color picker to manually choose your button color or enter a specific hex color code.
The Rounded corners slider allows you to give the button more or less rounded corners. 0% gives you squared edges, whereas 100% gives you semi-circular edges.

Toggle the Button as text switch to show a hyperlink instead of a button.
Popover
In this mode, you can embed your study as a popover button. You can click the button to view your popover in action and adjust its height under Settings.
