Once your research study is underway, you can easily view and explore your results to understand what participants had to say. In the Results Sessions, you can view individual responses to your research study. Read on for a breakdown of the Results Sessions.

Where to find your Results Sessions
1. After sharing your research study, click the Results tab to view responses.
Note! The Results tab won't become available until you've published your study.
2. Then click Sessions.
Research sessions
At the top of the Sessions section, you’ll see a quick overview of your study’s performance.
You’ll see the following:
- Views - How many participants opened the study link. Participants might not have started the study
- Starts - How many participants clicked the call to action button on the Welcome screen and began the study
- Partials - How many participants started but didn’t finish the study
- Completed - How many participants reached the Ending screen
- Completion rate - Percentage of completion (completed ÷ starts x 100)
- Median session duration - Average time spent in a completed session
These metrics can be used for:
- Tracking recruitment progress toward your completion target
- Spotting drop-off rates
- Estimating how much time remains to hit your response quota
- Sharing status updates with stakeholders
Sessions table
The Sessions table contains a list of all individual sessions in your study.
The Sessions table contains:
- Last interaction - Date and time of session. Timestamp will correspond to the time you have set on your device
- Status - In progress, Partial, or Complete
- Duration - Length of session
- Source - Link or embed, Prolific, or User Interviews (panel provider)
- Session format - Video, Voice, or Text
- Session summary - AI generated one sentence summary
- Screener questions and answers
- Research questions and answers
Click on the expand icon on a row to view the details of the individual session.

Searching and filtering sessions
Use the search bar to search across session summaries, transcripts, and answers to screener questions.
Click the date filter to narrow your sessions by date range.
Click the Filters button to filter by:
- Status - Completed, Partial, In progress
- Session format - Video, Voice, Text
- Research questions - Answers to research questions
You can add multiple filters by clicking + Add filter.
Sessions status
Each session will have a Session status that tells you how far a participant went in your research study.
Sessions can have the following statuses:
- In progress - Participant is currently active, will become Partial or Complete when they exit the research study
- Partial - Participant started and answered at least one question but did not reach the Ending
- Complete- Participant finished the entire research study and reached the Ending
Only Complete sessions are used to generate Insights.
Tip! If you’ve received a high volume of Partial sessions, consider reviewing your research study’s length and questions. We still recommend checking Partial sessions as they may contain valuable data.
Export sessions
You can export all your research study sessions into a CSV file. Click the export icon.
Alternatively, you can select the sessions you want to export by clicking the checkbox on an individual session. Then click the export button.
Once exported, you can open the CSV file to view your responses.
The CSV file will contain the information that’s displayed in your Sessions table.
Deleting sessions
To delete sessions, click the checkbox on the session you want to delete. You can select multiple sessions to delete in bulk. Then click the trash can button.
