I you're using the Classic builder, you can find that article here.
When someone is filling in your typeform they will see a progress bar at the bottom of the page that will indicate how far along they are through the completion process of the typeform.
There are two versions of the progress bar to choose from, one which shows respondent their progress through the typeform as a percentage…
…and another that displays progress in terms of the number of questions answered.
How to customize the progress bar
You can alter the appearance of the progress bar, or disable it completely via the Create panel.
1. Click on the Settings menu.
2. Choose the type of progress bar you want from the drop-down menu. You can choose between Proportion (number of questions answered out of total questions) or Percentage. If you want to disable the progress bar altogether you can do so by clicking the toggle.

Warning! Note that when a typeform contains Logic, you can only see the percentage progress bar.
With branching Logic paths, you may see the percentage changing counter-intuitively, e.g. from 50% to 10%. This happens when Logic paths have different amounts of questions. Before branching, the form cannot say which path the respondent will go down, so cannot calculate percentage accurately. So to avoid confusion, if you have multi-branching with paths of different sizes, simply disable the progress bar.

Tips! You can edit the text that appears above the progress bar and you can use it for alternative purposes, such as displaying your brand name or the purpose of the typeform. See an example below. Please refer to the article Customize System messages to learn how.
